Pursuant to the new Routt County Health Order issued on Wednesday, November 11th 2020, Snow Bowl Steamboat has decided to temporarily close its doors.
The safety of our staff, customers, and entire Steamboat community continues to be our first priority. We are committed to doing our part to follow the County Commissioner guidelines and to prevent the gathering of groups in close proximity to each other.
On March 23, 2020, Snow Bowl Steamboat embarked on a new mission to provide free dinners to laid-off hospitality and industry employees due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and to community members who cannot afford a daily hot meal.

Food donations came from local restaurants including, 41North, Mahogany Ridge, Rex's Family of Restaurants, Dude & Dan's Bar and Grill, 8th Street Steakhouse, Moon Hill Dairy, Powder Day Donuts, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, Steamboat Meat & Seafood Co., Harwigs, Hayden Fresh Farm, Sand Hill Cattle, Soda Creek Pizza, The Hungry Dog, and many more.
Monetary contributions came from local businesses including Twin Enviro Services, Alpine Bank, Mesa Equestrian Center, Talon Grips, Steamboat Catholic Church, Steamboat Christian Center, Steamboat Church of Christ, Steamboat Storage, Steamboat Motors, Steamboat Lodging Properties, TMR Construction, and more!
