Come for the food, stay for the bowling

This isn’t the “bowling lane food” that you grew up with as a kid. Chef Pete List has put together an award-winning menu that will surprise and delight you. Sure, we still have burgers, dogs, and fries on the menu but next time you stop in, why not try something out-of-the-ordinary like our award-winning chili, Braised Lamb Sandwich, Smoked Turkey Leg and Dumplings or Winter Vegetable Fix?

Just Because we have bowling lanes in here
Doesn't mean you cannot have a quality meal made from top-notch ingredients, prepared with care.

CHEF PETE LIST

Executive Chef Pete List Pete is a Steamboat Springs culinary celebrity. Born in Boulder Colorado, he began his culinary career at the impressionable age of nine. Cooking alongside his mother, he fostered a love and appreciation of the patience and intention that emphasized good cookery. At the ripe old age of ten he took his first cooking class. Wrapping his arms around the bourgeoning Boulder and Denver restaurant scene, Pete eventually established himself as Sous Chef shouldered beside early pioneer Chef Radek Cerney -of the acclaimed restaurants Papillion, Radek and European Café. After seven years, Pete left for new food-scapes in the City of Chicago. He found great opportunity to hone his skills as Executive Chef through a few hand-picked culturally rich restaurants in the heart of the city. French fine dining, Mexican Nuevo, and Mediterranean ideology was studied and implemented with creative results. He loved spending time in the Second City, but his heart longed for the beauty of Colorado, so he headed back home.

Pete became the Executive Chef of the upstart restaurant Beatrice & Woodsley on South Broadway in Denver, during a new era of cosmopolitan and sophisticated dining. After making Beatrice and Woodsley a fixture on the Denver restaurant scene, he decided to head west through the Yampa Valley and land in majestic Steamboat Springs. He worked at other acclaimed restaurants in Steamboat, as Executive Chef at Sweet Pea, with a bit of shared time at the Truffle Pig as the morning Sous Chef. The Snow Bowl team snatched him up when they decided to re-open the doors in March 2019 and he's been using his culinary and creative talents to lure customers to the West side of Steamboat since then.
